  • Mt. Baldhead – Located on Park Street across from museum.  282 steps to the top of the dune, trails down the backside to Lake Michigan. Spectacular view of surrounding area and the lake.  Picnic tables at the bottom with pavilion/grills.

Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Sunday noon – 5:30 p.m. (July & August open until 7:30 p.m.) Shorter hours after Labor day. 35-40 minute ride through Lake Michigan sand dunes on groomed trails with experienced drivers.  Three stops, history of dunes explained, opportunity for a short walk.
